Financial Analyst I Reports To: Vice President of Finance Full Time/Exempt (Salary) Position (40+ hours per week) Location: San Diego, CA The Company: Performance Designed Products (PDP) is one of the world's largest video game accessory companies, with expertise in controllers, cases, chargers and gaming headsets across all gaming platforms. Position Summary: Entry level financial analysts are responsible for supporting a wide variety of activities involved with PDP's financial planning and analysis. Candidate will be involved in a number of major projects that include annual budget preparation and quarterly forecast updates, report creation and delivery to numerous internal/external customers, supporting internal financial statement preparation, and review/research of general/cost accounting expenses. Responsibilities: - Assist with corporate budgeting and forecasting - Creation and analysis of various ad hoc models and reports - Responsible for monthly SG&A reporting & analysis - Become proficient in the corporate business intelligence system (MicroStrategy) - Assist in the creation and maintenance of corporate financial/business reporting/tools - Help maintain the integrity of the company's data warehouse - Support various cash, borrowing and banking activities, reporting and analysis Job Requirements: - BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or other business-related disciplines - Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles - Proficient in Excel with a strong working knowledge of Word, Outlook and other Microsoft Office products PDP is EOE AA.
