    Performance Director – Athletic Training Facility

    Location: D1 Training Alliance – Alliance Town Center (Fort Worth, TX) Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried (Exempt)

    Role Overview D1 Alliance is seeking an experienced Performance Director to lead athlete development, coaching quality, and program design within a sport science-driven training environment.

    This role is responsible for conducting athlete assessments, building structured training plans, and ensuring consistent, high-level coaching across all programs. The Performance Director serves as the technical authority within the facility and is the face of performance for athletes and families.

    This role is focused entirely on team leadership, training outcomes, program design, and coaching excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    Conduct comprehensive athlete assessments (movement, performance metrics, body composition)

    Design individualized, phase-based training programs aligned with athlete goals and development level

    Oversee programming across group, semi-private, private, and team training

    Lead and develop coaching staff; enforce training and coaching standards

    Maintain active presence on the training floor to ensure quality, safety, and execution

    Communicate performance plans and progress clearly to athletes and parents

    Partner with sales team to support onboarding and athlete success

    Qualifications

    10+ years experience in strength & conditioning or athletic performance

    Minimum 2 years operating as a manager within a fitness or performance facility

    Strong background in speed, strength, power, and long-term athlete development

    Proven ability to assess athletes and build structured training plans

    Leadership experience with direct reports

    Ability to clearly communicate sport science concepts

    Preferred: CSCS, RSCC, or equivalent certification(s)

    Compensation

    Base salary (exempt)
