PDW is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to build and lead all “people” operations for the company, including but not limited to; recruiting, training and development, compensation analysis, benefits, organizational planning and culture. The ideal candidate has significant experience wearing multiple hats and requires an experienced HR professional who is ready to be a part of a team and take on the exciting challenge of building our brand and culture. The candidate must have a working knowledge of human resource principles and be an assertive, self-starter that can build a successful, supportive HR program from scratch. The candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment with varying demands on their time. The HR manager will contribute to the ongoing development and transformation of the office environment, and as a team player will be a key contributor to a positive workplace culture.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and administers policies and programs covering several areas of Human Resources such as recruitment, wage and salary administration, training, employee relations, benefits and equal employment opportunity (EEO)/affirmative action programs.
- Prepares recommendations to upper management concerning human resources issues and concerns.
- Develop company wide performance management programs providing constructive and candid feedback interloping with competency development and goal setting.
- Establish a scheme for consistent salary & position levels along with career-oriented professional development.
- Prepare future HR planning through efficient and thoughtful staff resourcing maintain the pace of growth through data driven decisions.
- Ensures assigned group programs, practices and policies comply with applicable laws, regulations and Performance Drone Works company policies.
- Recruits, interviews, tests and selects employees to fill vacant policies.
- Creates drafts of job descriptions for new positions.
- Prepares resume acknowledgement and interview follow up correspondence to candidates.
- Coordinates the development of offer packages.
- Conducts new employee orientation and exit interviews as needed.
- Maintains I-9’s and all E-Verify requirements
- Be a driving force for long term HR planning by working directly with senior leadership to understand business goals and partner with department leads to meet organizational objectives.
- Be the primary focus behind PDW’s culture and develop creative solutions to amplify employee engagement and internalization of PDW culture.
- Champion PDW culture while orchestrating a framework that incentivizes team first attitudes, cross-department collaboration, and work a work-hard-play-hard mentality.
- Supports all company events
- Creating, planning and organization of various sized events for employees as well as customers/vendors.
- Manage the delivery, including set-up of trainings and support of the company’s learning & development goals.
- Advise the relevant area of human resource of any employee concerns, issues or complaints and where required, support the delivery of a solution.
- Assists in response to proposals regarding staffing hours.
- Develops and maintains a practical knowledge of compliance agency procedures to include charge responses.
- Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local government bodies, or other departments in the organization.
- Investigates in matters of employee relation's issues to include Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) issues.
- Manages daily activities to ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures.
- Manages efficient utilization of human resources assignment, performance, morale, and overall welfare.
- Serves as management representative when called upon.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· 5+ year(s) of related work experience
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline.
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
