    JOB TITLE: PERIMETER TECHNOLOGIES CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

    POSITION: Part-time & Full-Time

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Perimeter Technologies, the leaders in Pet Containment, are looking for qualified Part-Time & Full-Time Customer Support Specialists. The Perimeter Technologies Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner. They will identify customer’s needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions. In addition to offering technical support to customers this position will serve as the primary contact between the sales office and the customer. Looking for motivated professionals with a strong call center background in a fast-paced environment. Qualified applicant would have strong communication skills, both written and oral and enjoy speaking with customers. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Applicant would have the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot electronic equipment with customers, set up replacements, sell new systems and accessories, and provide support to our dealer network.

    Part-Time Schedule is flexible and work schedule will be set on the needs of the business during Monday through Friday.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Handle large amount of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
    • Follow call center “scripts” when handling different topics
    • Identify customer’s needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions
    • Be the liaison between our company and our current and potential customers
    • Will serve as the primary contact between the sales office and the customer
    • Accept ownership for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries
    • Seize opportunities to up sell products when they arise
    • Keep customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior
    • Document phone calls and other forms of communication
    • Process order entry and warranty registrations
    • All Part-Time Staff must be able to work a flexible work schedule

    EDUCATION, TRAINING & SKILLS:

    • High School diploma
    • Previous experience in a call center environment required
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with active listening
    • Experience with Microsoft Office products and CRM systems
    • Courteous telephone etiquette along with a positive, upbeat personality
    • Ability to handle all types of customers and maintain composure
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team environment
    • Ability to identify customer issues and exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing environment

    PHYSICAL SKILL AND EFFORT:

    • Valid Driver’s License; Reliable transportation
    • Sitting, standing, walking
    • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
    • Reading of work-related material
    • Requires considerable visual attention with attention to detail

    GENERAL:

    This position is located at the Perimeter Technologies/Pet Stop office at 4866 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242. Due to the company’s dog related customer products all Perimeter Technologies employees must enjoy being around and have no issue with socialization of dogs.
