Job Description
SUMMARY: Manages sales activities of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
- May, from time to time, deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
- Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
- Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Prepares sales report for executive management meetings.
- Supervise the design and implementation of the marketing plan, the generation of new business, and the estimating and pricing of new business and the pricing of engineering changes.
- Help in the development of the overall annual budget.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s preferred
- 10+ years of Sales Leadership experience
- Current Sr. Director/ Vice President of Sales
- Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships
- International experience a plus (LATAM, Asia)
