Perry Office Plus is Central Texas' largest independent B2B office products, janitorial, & furniture supplier. We are looking for engaging, passionate people that are interested in learning how to please customers, gain new prospects, and make a great living working with an exciting company.

We are seeking an individual with demonstrated success in sales and/or competition within a team atmosphere.

Our ideal candidate must:

• Be willing to learn our business from the ground up.
• Have exceptional customer service focus.
• Be able to accept some rejection from new prospects without becoming too afraid to move forward with other prospects.
• Gain new business and grow sales within current customers by building rapport, uncovering needs and identifying options.
• Be a creative problem solver.
• Consistently be willing to learn and energetic with prospects and customers.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring new accounts for Perry Office Plus as well as building relationships with current customers. They serve as the primary contact for buyers and work together as needed with Sales Managers, Customer Service and other company resources to manage day-to-day account needs. Most of their time will be spent prospecting for new business by calling on potential customers and following up on leads from our web site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research, contact, qualify, prepare, and present proposals to acquire new accounts.
• Identify short-term and long-term sales retention and penetration opportunities.
• Coordinate account management (requisitions, contracts, business reviews, etc.) with support from Customer Support, and company management.

Compensation will be a combination of base pay, commission and bonuses. Our package of pay and benefits is highly competitive.
