About Personal Best Physical Therapy
Personal Best Physical Therapy is a privately-owned, community outpatient clinic specializing in orthopedics, neurology, dry needling, and pelvic health, as well as specific populations like pediatrics and Parkinson’s.
We believe in empowering our patients in their journeys to recovery and rehabilitation. Our goal is to educate and collaborate with our patients in achieving their personal best.
Established in 2015, we have built an outstanding reputation in the community for offering our patients the best care available. In 2017, we opened a clinic in Norfolk, MA as well. Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess the patient’s physical conditions and symptoms based on patient testimonial, medical record review, formal observation tests, and referrals from doctors or surgeons
Develop and implement an individualized treatment plan and goals in collaboration with the patient and caregivers
Maintain and document patient evaluations, goals, and progress in the medical record as required
Coach and teach patients different therapeutic exercises and stretches such as: aerobic capacity conditioning, balance coordination, agility training, body mechanics and postural stabilization, flexibility exercises, gait and locomotion training, neuromotor development training, relaxation, strength, power, and endurance training
Provide hands-on therapy to ease patient pain and provide stimulation to promote healing
Reassess and adapt program/plan of care according to the patient needs, conditions, or progress
Advise and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on in-home treatment options and clearly set expectations of the recovery process
Education:
Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
Experience:
2 years of recent experience preferred, though not required.
