    Job Summary:

    Dignity Transition Care is a Non-medical Home care service dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate support to adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. We are currently seeking a Personal Care Aide who embodies our mission of enhancing dignity through empathetic care. In this vital role, you will contribute to improving the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they feel valued and respected. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, performing light housekeeping tasks, facilitating errands, providing medication reminders, and supporting other daily activities that foster a nurturing living environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist clients with personal hygiene needs and dressing to promote dignity and self-esteem.

    • Support mobility through walking assistance and guidance with physical therapy exercises. -Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the individual dietary needs of each client.

    • Conduct light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe living environment.

    • Safely dispense medications, promote adherence, and monitor side effects.

    • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client experience.

    • Assist clients with errands and shopping as needed, fostering independence.

    • Demonstrate a commitment to training and providing non-medical care tailored to each client's unique needs.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

    • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

    • Basic knowledge of housekeeping tasks and cooking skills.

    • Ability to adhere to all health and safety protocols.

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families, team, and referrals.

    • Capability to lift and move heavy objects as required for client support.

    • A compassionate, respectful, and ethical approach to caregiving, aligning with the values of Dignity Transition Care.

    Qualifications

    Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred but not required.

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills

    Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to lift heavy objects
