East Longmeadow, MA - Fridays 10am-4pm, part-time, personal care, transfer assistance Can be combined with other clients to achieve desired number of hours.

Your help is needed in East Longmeadow! Mrs. P is in need of a caregiver to take over immediately on Fridays during the day. She needs assistance with personal care, feeding, and transfer to and from her wheelchair.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles

Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care

Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor

Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert

Requirements:

Vehicle

Valid MA Driver's License

1+ years of experience in direct care

HHA or CNA preferred but not required (if experienced)

Willing to accept at least 1 e/o weekend shift

Willing to submit to background checks

Provide at least 2 professional references (not friends)

Punctual, Reliable, Compassionate, Patient, Empathetic, and Skilled

Strong ability to read, write, understand, and speak English so as to:

Read ADL's

Communicate verbally with clients, families, co-workers, and Administrative Staff
