Westfield, MA - Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, 9-12pm; Saturdays 2-6pm; 16hr/week, part-time, male or female caregiver wanted! May share client with another caregiver. Can also be combined with other clients to achieve your desired hours.

A veteran in Westfield needs your help! Mr. T is new to the area and is in need of some help around the house during the day throughout the week. He would like some help with personal care and some light housekeeping tasks. The caregiver(s) can be either male or female. *client has cats in the home.

Location: Westfield Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9a-12p; Saturdays 2p-6p Type: Part Time

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles

Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care

Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor

Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert

Requirements:

Vehicle

Valid MA Driver's License

1+ years of experience in direct care

HHA or CNA preferred but not required (if experienced)

Willing to accept at least 1 e/o weekend shift

Willing to submit to background checks

Provide at least 2 professional references (not friends)

Punctual, Reliable, Compassionate, Patient, Empathetic, and Skilled

Strong ability to read, write, understand, and speak English so as to:

Read ADL's

Communicate verbally with clients, families, co-workers, and Administrative Staff
