    Location: **Glendale (West Valley Area) **This role requires you to work with patients in the West Valley and surrounding areas. Below is a list of patient locations within these areas:

    Cities : Peoria, Sun City, Sun City West, Buckeye, Good Year, Tolleson, West Phoenix, Scottsdale

    How it Works

    • Shift Availability: Hours are offered "as needed" and are based on your availability
    • Flexibility: You have the freedom to accept or decline shifts
    • Variety: You may work with different clients and in different settings depending on where the immediate need arises.
    • Per Diem PCA agrees and is willing to commute to the areas listed in this posting.

We are currently seeking a committed and reliable Personal Care Attendant/Caregiver to join our growing team.

    Job Summary:

    As a Personal Care Attendant/Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to clients in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to help individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with clients and their families to maintain dignity and independence while providing compassionate care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
    • Help with mobility and movement, including transferring clients in and out of bed or vehicles.
    • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities.
    • Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
    • Medication assistance and monitoring clients' health conditions
    • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and tidy living environment.
    • Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare team members.
    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or personal care preferred.
    • Minium of 5 years' experience in a caregiving role or similar position is a plus (agency, company, facility, or related businesses).
    • Knowledge of basic caregiving principles, personal hygiene, and safety practices.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
    • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.
    • REQUIRED TRAINING: * CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. * Direct Care Worker (DCW) certificate * Fingerprint Clearance Card
