About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care - Sarasota is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care & Home Health Aide to join our growing team in Sarasota, FL. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing essential care and support in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Aide (PCA), or Caregiver preferred
Valid HHA certification or CNA license a plus
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
