Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personalized care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe home environment for clients.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation while respecting the dietary needs and preferences of clients.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote well-being.
- Monitor and record clients' vital signs, health conditions, or changes in behavior and communicate these to healthcare professionals or family members as needed.
- Assist with medication reminders, ensuring clients adhere to their prescribed schedules.
- Foster a respectful and supportive environment that upholds the dignity and privacy of clients.
- Collaborate with clients' families and healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Previous experience in personal care or homemaking roles is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to perform tasks that require physical activity, such as lifting or transferring clients.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for commuting to client homes.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
