Caregiver Responsibilities

As a Caregiver, you will help clients live safely and comfortably at home. Duties include:

Providing personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene

Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry

Preparing simple, nutritious meals and snacks

Giving medication reminders (no medication administration)

Offering companionship and meaningful conversation

Working in clients’ homes throughout Spokane County with a variety of shift times

Caregiver Requirements

Certified Health Care Aide (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred, but not required

We will pay for your HCA training if you qualify

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

Able to pass a written competency evaluation, drug screen, and nationwide background check

Honest, energetic, dependable, and genuinely passionate about helping others as a Caregiver
