About the Role:
We are seeking a tech-savvy, highly organized, reliable, and trustworthy Personal/Family Assistant to support a business owner who operates childcare centers. This is a part-time to full-time, in-person position that blends personal, family, and business-related responsibilities. You’ll be a critical part of keeping the business owner, household, and his team running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Business Support
Manage and coordinate calendars, appointments, and scheduling needs
Handle financial tasks including bank deposits, basic bookkeeping
Prepare, print, and organize business materials
Conduct property-related maintenance
Maintain a well-organized office environment, including filing systems and supply inventory
Communicate professionally on behalf of the owner via phone, email, and text
Liaise with property managers, employees, and vendors to support daily operations of household and business
Computer literacy and ability to operate standard office equipment, including, but not limited to, computer, scanners, copier, laminator, shredder
Exercise strict confidentiality and discretion with sensitive personal information
Social media creation and management
Errands & Personal Support
Complete personal and family errands including grocery runs, dry cleaning, Amazon returns, plant watering,
Assist with transporting children, age 11 and 7 from school and lessons
Provide homework support for children
Daily Housekeeping items, such as laundry, kitchen tidiness, vacuuming, dog walking, dusting, organizing.
Requirements:
· Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license and auto insurance
· Must love children, pet and have a go-getter attitude and be able to problem solve
· Highly organized with excellent time management
Tech-savvy: Microsoft Office, email, texting, Canva
Strong written and verbal communication
Trustworthy and discreet with personal information
Physically able to lift light loads and maintain light cleaning
Willing to undergo a background check, credit check, and reference check
1-year minimum commitment
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a personal or executive assistant (2 years)
Familiarity with small business operations
