This attorney will work closely with a senior attorney to support case preparation on our extremely high-value case docket, including depositions, discovery, legal research, drafting, and client communication. Responsibilities: • Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation, in addition to supporting senior attorneys for the preparation of the same • Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents • Interview clients, supporting witnesses, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to collect information • Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly Qualifications: • One year of personal injury litigation or trial experience is required • Texas license to practice law and State Bar Association membership are required • Bachelor's degree and J.D. are required • Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law, wrongful death, civil law is required • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000, depending on experience
