Responsibilities: • Appear as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation • Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate • Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents • Interview clients, supporting witnesses, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to collect information • Handle personal injury case files from start to finish Qualifications: • A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary • State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred • Must be computer proficient • A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired Compensation: $100,000 yearly
