  • Responsibilities

    The Personal Injury Attorney will represent clients who have been injured at no fault of their own, and will be responsible for managing all aspects of their cases from initial consultation through trial. They will work closely with clients, medical experts, and other legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for each case. Responsibilities: • Conduct client interviews and investigations to assess the merits of potential cases • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests • Conduct depositions and other forms of discovery • Attend mediations and negotiate settlements with opposing counsel • Prepare and present cases at jury trial, including selecting juries, presenting opening and closing arguments, and examining witnesses • Work with medical experts to develop and present evidence of injuries and damages • Manage caseload and meet deadlines for pleadings, discovery, and other legal filings • Provide guidance to support staff Qualifications: • Admission and good standing in the State of Ohio • 2+ year of litigation experience • Strong understanding personal injury litigation procedures • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong negotiation and trial advocacy skills • Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 yearly
