Responsibilities: • Handle personal injury case files from start to finish • Modify, review, and draft demand letters, pleadings, claims, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents • Settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements 2-5 years of litigation experience in personal injury, specifically in motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, dog bites, and other injury mattersClient IntakesAssemble Demand Packages for Insurance CarriersSettlement NegotiationsCourt Appearances, DepositionsManage a team of Personal Injury Paralegals Qualifications: • Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative • State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory • A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred • Proficiency in computers is vital Compensation: $100,000 yearly to start including incentive bonuses
