Plaintiff - Personal Injury Case Manager/Paralegal - Bergen County A prominent plaintiff’s law firm based in Teaneck, NJ, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury (Plaintiff) Litigation Paralegal /Case Manager to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate must possess 3-10 years of litigation experience. Previous litigation and personal injury experience are required. Medical malpractice experience is a plus. Candidates without the required experience will not be considered. A comprehensive benefits package is provided: • Free employee medical coverage, with paid deductible • Vision and dental coverage at a minimal surcharge • Life insurance and supplemental disability coverage • 401(k) plan • Voluntary AFLAC coverage • Voluntary Pet Insurance Vet Coverage • Accrued Paid Sick Leave • PTO days, along with Major Federal Holidays Responsibilities: Including, but not limited to: • Handle all aspects of personal injury files from filing the complaint until the conclusion of the case • Maintain frequent and compassionate communication with clients regarding case status, treatment progress, and legal steps • Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement demands • Coordinate with medical providers to obtain and summarize records and bills • Prepare cases for arbitration, mediation, and trial as necessary • Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and appearances Qualifications: • Self-starter who can work with little supervision, be extremely organized, and very detail-oriented • Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law (required) • Strong understanding of New Jersey tort law, court procedures, and e-filing systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in legal case management software • Ability to multitask, work independently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. • Treat others with respect and contribute to a positive team environment • Knowledge of Trial Pad and/or TrialWorks is a plus • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and PDF conversion software. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is necessary • Knowledge of Local and State discovery rules • Organization skills and attention to detail Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 annual
