You’ll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience, and an authentic passion for helping people. Responsibilities: • Gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case and conduct legal research on case law and premises liability • Maintain updated status documentation of all case files in the case management system • Oversee personal injury case files from beginning to end • Arrange suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate • Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary • Independently manage a full personal injury caseload from intake to resolution, including depositions, motions, trials, hearings, negotiations, and settlement closings. • Apply the Keenan “Edge” system: submit cases for expert agility review, focus group testing, and strategic refinement. • Collaborate with experts and support staff to build compelling, high-value arguments for injury, accident, labor law, premises liability, etc. • Provide exceptional client care with clear, regular communication. • Lead negotiations and leverage trial preparation to extract maximum value. Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required • 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed • A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired • Proficiency in computers is vital • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred • Juris Doctor and active NY State Bar admission. • Minimum 5 years’ experience representing plaintiffs in substantial personal injury litigation. • Strong organizational, multitasking, and tech-savvy; proficiency with case management systems and legal research tools. • Exceptional communication—oral, written, and negotiation. • High-initiative, success-driven mindset with a passion for applying expert-anchored strategies to increase damages. Compensation: $175,000 - $225,000 yearly
