Responsibilities: • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly • Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation • Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary • Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information • Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required • Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued • Computer proficiency is essential • State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory • Florida licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history • Outstanding academic credentials • Self-starter, driven by long-term career goals • Superior oral and written advocacy skills • Team oriented Compensation: $70,000 - $135,000 salary + bonuses
