    Our firm is growing, and we’re looking for an empathic, experienced personal injury attorney to help clients find justice and compensation for their injuries with automobile, wrongful death, and trucking accidents. You will handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience, and an authentic passion for helping people. Responsibilities: • Handle personal injury case files from start to finish • Gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case and conduct legal research on case law and premises liability • Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation • Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly • Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system • Learn, understand, and execute the firm’s personal injury case management process and procedures according to written and/or verbal instructions • Manage a portfolio of personal injury cases through the use of a variety of case management programs and procedures • Ensure the rights of the client, as well as the professional integrity of the firm, are preserved and maintained through professional expert representation in court or before government agencies • Prepare legal documents and negotiate settlements on behalf of injured clients Qualifications: • Must be computer proficient • Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory • Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative • A bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required • Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired • Knowledge of personal injury law/tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil, and family law is vital • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to build rapport with clients • Excellent time management skills, be organized, and able to effectively prioritize projects and tasks in a fast-paced work environment • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent client service • Intermediate administrative and proficient computer skills are required • Candidate must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia
