Personal Injury Legal Assistant

StaffBuffalo is working with a respected and fast-paced law firm in the Buffalo, NY area to hire a Personal Injury Legal Assistant. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity offering $25.00–$34.00/hour, depending on experience, with overtime potential and a strong benefits package.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized in a busy legal environment and takes pride in keeping cases moving forward. You’ll support attorneys and paralegals handling personal injury matters — including complex cases that require careful tracking, accuracy, and consistent follow-through.

This is a fully in-office position in Buffalo, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day personal injury case management

• Prepare, organize, and manage legal documents and correspondence

• Track deadlines, outstanding tasks, and incoming records to ensure cases stay on schedule

• Maintain accurate electronic and physical case files

• Assist with scheduling, coordination, and internal case workflow

• Communicate professionally with internal team members

• Ensure cases move forward efficiently and nothing falls through the cracks

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a legal or professional office environment preferred

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

• Comfort working with electronic document management systems

• Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic

• Legal assistant or personal injury experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay: $25.00–$34.00, depending on experience
