    Gemma Law Associates is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our team. The Litigation Attorney is responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients who have suffered injuries due to negligence. They work under the guidance of senior attorneys and partners and are expected to handle a variety of tasks related to personal injury cases. This position will involve all aspects of litigation, including depositions, mediations, arbitrations, motion practice, and trials. Compensation: • Based on experience and skills • Incentives also included Benefits: • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Life Insurance • 401(k) • Vacation Time & Personal Time (PTO) • Annual Reviews Responsibilities: • Meet with clients to discuss their cases, gather information, and provide legal advice on potential claims. • Evaluate the merit of potential personal injury cases and determine the feasibility of pursuing a claim. • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on the progress of their cases and answer their questions. • Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring that deadlines are met and cases are organized. • Prepare legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and other necessary paperwork. • Negotiation: Negotiate with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case to secure favorable settlements for clients. • Participate in mediation or other alternative dispute resolution processes to resolve cases. • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to work on cases effectively. • Adhere to legal ethics, professional responsibility, and client confidentiality. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from a fully accredited law school. • An active member in good standing with the Rhode Island State Bar (required) and the Massachusetts State Bar (preferred). • Some Litigation Experience preferred. • Minimum of 2-5 Years of litigation experience (preferred), 2 years of Personal Injury experience (required). • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to secure favorable settlements for clients. • Client-Centric Approach – committed to providing high-quality client service and a compassionate approach when dealing with clients who have suffered injuries. • The ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. • Willingness to collaborate and work effectively within a legal team. Compensation: $75,000
