Responsibilities: • Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate • Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents • Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly • Handle personal injury case files from start to finish • Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation Qualifications: • Requires a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree • Must be computer proficient • Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued • Knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is vital • Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia • Must have litigated personal injury cases in Virginia General District AND Circuit Courts • Must have at least 5 years of Personal Injury Experience Compensation: $120,000+
