    WGK Personal Injury Lawyers is hiring an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in active personal injury lawsuits. This is a true litigation role. The majority of your caseload will be filed matters in Maryland state and federal courts, with a focus on auto accident and premises liability cases. High-value cases anticipated for mediation or arbitration may also fall within your scope from the outset. Responsibilities: What You'll Do Discovery Management • Draft, serve, and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission • Manage document productions, including organization, review, and privilege logging • Coordinate and schedule depositions; prepare deposition summaries and exhibits • Track all discovery deadlines against scheduling orders and court rules • Use AI drafting tools to accelerate discovery responses and document review Motion Practice & Court Filings • Draft motions, oppositions, memoranda, and proposed orders for attorney review • Use AI tools to support legal research, draft initial motion frameworks, and summarize case law • Prepare and e-file documents in Maryland state courts and the federal district court • Monitor dockets, deadlines, and court-issued notices; flag conflicts immediately Trial & Mediation Preparation • Build and organize trial binders, exhibit lists, and witness files • Coordinate with court reporters, expert witnesses, and litigation support vendors • Prepare mediation and arbitration packages for high-value cases, including damages summaries and exhibit compilations • Assist attorneys with all pre-trial logistics Case & Docket Management • Maintain active litigation files in Filevine, including docket entries, document organization, and deadline tracking • Schedule hearings, expert conferences, and case management calls • Communicate professionally with opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors on procedural matters Qualifications: What We're Looking For • Minimum 2 years of litigation paralegal experience, plaintiff-side personal injury strongly preferred (required) • Demonstrated experience managing active discovery in Maryland state courts • Familiarity with Maryland Rules of Civil Procedure and e-filing requirements • Experience supporting trial preparation, including exhibit management and trial binders • Comfort using AI drafting and research tools (Claude, CoCounsel, or comparable); prior experience preferred, genuine willingness to learn required • Filevine or comparable case management system experience preferred • Workers' compensation litigation experience is a strong plus • Excellent written communication and drafting skills • Ability to manage multiple active files under deadline pressure with minimal oversight • Advanced Microsoft Office skills Compensation: $33.65 - $38.50 hourly
