Full-time, in-office position at our Baltimore office. We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our Baltimore, Maryland law firm. In this role, you will provide critical litigation support to our attorneys throughout every stage of the personal injury claims and lawsuit process. The ideal candidate will bring strong case management, legal research, and document drafting abilities, along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Some responsibilities include preparing legal documents, managing discovery, coordinating with clients and medical providers, and assisting with trial preparation. A minimum of two years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury litigation, is required. • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Life Insurance Coverage • Bonus Pay and Performance Incentives • Paid Holidays • Paid Lunch Break • Periodic Office-Sponsored Lunches Responsibilities: Case Management: • Manage and organize personal injury case files, including document databases, case calendars, and e-filing systems. • Schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and court appearances. • Prepare and file legal documents, this includes complaints, interrogatories, motions, briefs, and subpoenas ensuring compliance with deadlines and court requirements. • Monitor and update case statuses, deadlines, and upcoming events. Legal Research & Drafting: • Conduct legal research using online legal databases to support litigation strategy. • Summarize and analyze case law, medical records, and legal documents. • Draft legal correspondence, memoranda, and discovery responses. Document Management: • Review, organize, and analyze pleadings, contracts, and discovery materials. • Prepare document productions and maintain accurate logs. • Assist with document review, including privilege review and privilege log preparation. Trial & Litigation Support: • Support attorneys with trial prep, including organizing exhibits, witness files, and trial binders. • Coordinate with vendors for court reporting, transcription, and other litigation support services. Communication & Collaboration: • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and court personnel. • Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, and intake staff to maintain efficient workflow and case progress. • Perform additional litigation support duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Minimum of two years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in personal injury law. • Strong understanding of federal and state court rules, filing requirements, and litigation procedures. • Proficiency with legal research tools, document management systems, and litigation support software. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage high-volume caseloads. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and court personnel. • Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment. • Advanced Microsoft Office skills • Experience with electronic discovery (eDiscovery), document production, and e-filing systems. • Background in trial preparation and litigation support, including exhibit management and trial binders. Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 yearly
