GA Rogers + Associates is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a premier law firm located in Roseland, New Jersey. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their esteemed legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a stable work history who is seeking a long-term position within a supportive and successful firm. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in personal injury and medical malpractice law and will play a crucial role in the initial stages of case development.
Primary Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective case intakes, gathering essential information and managing the initial client experience.
Draft and prepare initial pleadings, including complaints and summonses.
Prepare and draft comprehensive discovery responses, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case materials.
Assist attorneys with overall case management from inception through discovery.
Organize and maintain client files and legal documentation.
Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience focused specifically on Personal Injury and/or Medical Malpractice cases is required.
A stable and consistent work history is highly valued. We are seeking a candidate who is looking for a long-term career opportunity, not frequent job changes.
Proven expertise in drafting legal documents, particularly pleadings and discovery responses.
Strong understanding of the New Jersey litigation process.
Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with standard office and legal software.
Bilingual in Spanish is a significant plus.
Work Schedule
Standard hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
The firm offers flexibility for alternative schedules, such as an earlier start and end time, to accommodate work-life balance.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for a candidate with 3-5 years of relevant experience is $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
The final salary will be commensurate with your level of experience and qualifications.
