Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Personal Lines Agent based in Virginia Beach, VA. The Personal Lines Agent will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, educating clients on available insurance products, assessing client needs, and recommending appropriate coverage. Daily tasks include processing policy changes, handling renewals, issuing new policies, and addressing any client inquiries. The agent will work closely with clients to ensure they have the best possible coverage at an affordable price.

Qualifications

Customer service, client relationship building, and communication skills

Understanding of personal lines insurance products such as homeowners, auto, and personal liability insurance

Administrative skills including policy processing, documentation, and data entry

Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with insurance company software systems and tools

Insurance licensing in the state of Virginia is required

Experience in an insurance agency or related field is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is advantageous
