About the Role:
Join HMS Agency, Inc. as a Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative and be the friendly voice that assists our valued clients. In this dynamic role, you'll provide exceptional service while helping customers navigate their personal insurance needs.
Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries regarding personal lines insurance policies and coverage options.
Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and claims processing.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
Collaborate with underwriters and agents to resolve customer issues efficiently.
Educate clients on risk management and insurance products tailored to their needs.
Proficiency in our Agency Management System. Training will be done
Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant insurance certifications preferred.
Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using insurance software and CRM systems.
Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
New York State insurance license required. HMS will assist in obtaining license.
