Responsibilities: • Maintain a high standard of customer service excellence when solving billing, policy change, claims, or coverage related issues • Customize personal lines insurance policy options, quotes, and educational materials for potential and current customers • Ensure up-to-date information within insurance company databases to effectively drive sales and current customers • Review insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits in order to recommend modifications, as needed • Identify and secure new business through creative sales tactics, including networking and cold calling Qualifications: • Prior experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for personal lines • Must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience working in the insurance industry • Strong aptitude for computer programs including Microsoft Office required; agency management system experience preferred • Stellar verbal and written communications skills mandatory • State-issued, valid insurance license(s) required: Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License Compensation: $70,000 base + commission
