Position Summary
The Personal Lines Producer is responsible for growing our personal lines book of business by developing new client relationships and selling insurance policies including Home, Auto, Umbrella, and more. This position is ideal for an experienced insurance professional who is well-connected, enjoys meeting new people, and isn’t afraid to make cold calls or engage in community marketing events.

Location: Remote (Texas) — Candidates must be based in Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, or San Antonio to support marketing and client engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify, qualify, and convert personal lines prospects through cold calls, networking, referrals, and community outreach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and centers of influence.
Provide accurate insurance quotes and guide clients through coverage options that best meet their needs.
Represent the agency professionally at marketing events, community activities, and networking functions.
Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth onboarding and excellent customer service.
Maintain detailed activity logs and client information in the agency’s management system.
What We’re Looking For
Prior insurance experience required (independent agency background preferred)
Active Property & Casualty license
Outgoing, personable, and confident communicator
Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Comfortable with cold calling and outbound prospecting
Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented
Willing to attend marketing events and represent the agency in the community

Compensation Structure
Our compensation plan rewards growth and success while providing stability during the ramp-up period. The step-down base salary model transitions toward full commission as renewal income builds, offering financial security and strong long-term earning potential.
Compensation highlights include:
Step-Down Base Salary Structure:
Year 1: $50,000 base salary
Year 2: $35,000 base salary
Year 3: $20,000 base salary
Year 4 onward: Full commission-based earnings with renewal income support
New Business Commission: 40% of new business revenue
Renewal Business Commission: 30% of retained business revenue
Annual Compensation Potential:
Year 1: $60,000
Year 2: $60,125
Year 3: $59,894
Year 4: $61,724
Year 5: $80,000+
