    Job Description

    The Personal Trainer/Fitness Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional fitness and wellness experiences while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest engagement within our fitness facilities. This role combines personalized training, group instruction, and hospitality-driven service to foster connection, well-being, and repeat visitation.

    Core Responsibilities
    Within the Auberge family, our team members consistently look for thoughtful ways to care for our guests, support one another, and contribute to the success of the property.Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

    • Lead a diverse range of group fitness classes (Complimentary & Personal Training Sessions), in modalities such as strength training, yoga, Pilates, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT), tailored to varying skill levels
    • Deliver personalized training sessions (Group & Private) that align with individual guest goals, abilities, and wellness journeys
    • Create a warm, engaging, and inclusive environment by actively connecting with guests and fostering a sense of community
    • Serve as an ambassador of the fitness and wellness experience by offering guidance, demonstrating proper techniques, and encouraging safe movement practices
    • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the fitness center and movement spaces
    • Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized, maintained, and safely stored in accordance with established protocols
    • Promote on-property wellness offerings, including fitness programming, retreats, and workshops
    • Stay informed on current fitness trends, techniques, and certifications to continuously elevate the guest experience

    Pay Rate: $24/hour + 40% commission on booked private sessions

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • At least two years of experience as a fitness / personal trainer.
    • Fitness Certification required through a nationally recognized organization
    • High energy personality, passionate about health & fitness and helping others achieve their goals
    • Knowledge of the fundamentals of exercise science and fitness techniques.
    • Understanding of nutrition and diet.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead classes effectively.
    • First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation training required
