    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Personal Trainer to join our team. The Personal Trainer will lead small‑group workout classes and have the opportunity to provide optional 1‑on‑1 training sessions. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about functional movement, enjoys working with diverse ability levels, and wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with neurological conditions.

    Responsibilities

    Lead group workout classes designed for individuals with neurological movement disorders

    Provide optional 1:1 personal training sessions

    Follow training plans developed in collaboration with our physician and clinical team

    Ensure a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for all participants

    Modify exercises based on individual needs and mobility levels

    Track client progress and communicate updates to the supervising physician

    Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training space

    Qualifications

    Current Personal Trainer Certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or equivalent)

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to work with clients of varying mobility levels

    High school diploma/GED required

    Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification

    Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred

    First aid and CPR-certified

    Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills

    Excellent organizational and time management skills

    Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

    Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field

    Experience working with individuals who have neurological or movement disorders

    Background in functional training, corrective exercise, or senior fitness
