    We are in search of a Certified Personal Trainer focused on resistance & strength training, yoga, mobility, or pelvic health

    Women's Advantage Men's Optimal Health PT is a pelvic health PT/OT specialty clinic that has been located in Torrance for 22 years.

    Our Torrance location has 12 private treatment rooms and a large sunny gym, with floor to ceiling windows and lots of natural light, equiped with 4 pilates reformers, a trap table, wunda chair, 4 TRX straps, wall mirror, MOTR, and various weights/balls/foam rollers/yoga mats/etc for use.

    Position Type: Full-time or Part-time

    Start Date: as soon as possible

    Position Summary:

    The ideal candidate will work closely alongside our Physical Therapists to help patients transition from rehabilitation to long-term wellness. You will provide customized, functional movement programming with a focus on post-rehab fitness, core stabilization, and pelvic floor health, while using techniques rooted in weight training, yoga, or other low-impact modalities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Design and deliver individualized sessions for clients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions

    Incorporate weight training, mobility, yoga, and/or therapeutic movement to support core, posture, and pelvic floor health

    Collaborate with physical therapists to ensure continuity of care and safe progression from rehab to fitness

    Educate clients on breathwork, body mechanics, and exercises to prevent reinjury

    Maintain accurate session documentation and client progress notes while also communicating closely with clients’ PT/PTA to ensure client’s success

    Support clinic culture by maintaining a professional, clean, and welcoming environment

    Maintain confidentiality of patient information, according to HIPAA guidelines

    Qualifications:

    Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent)

    Certification in at least one of the following:

    Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200 or higher)

    Pelvic Health/Floor Exercise Specialist Certification (or significant experience working with pelvic floor clients)

    Current CPR/AED certification

    Experience working in clinical, rehab, or wellness settings preferred

    Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
