    Job Summary

    Atlas Ocean Voyages is seeking an experienced individual to join our amazing, best-in-class team of Personal Voyage Specialists. As a brand ambassador, this role is responsible for cultivating new relationships, while strengthening existing ones. Voyage Specialist service new inbound new and existing reservation calls from our Guests throughout the entire customer service cycle.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide detailed information and make appropriate recommendations regarding Atlas Ocean Voyages destinations, itineraries, and ancillary products.

    • Use courteous, professional, consultative selling techniques and product knowledge to increase booking revenue and provide complete customer satisfaction

    • Provide consistent consultative telephone and email support to Travel Advisors and guests in a positive, knowledgeable, and professional manner.

    • Consistently follow up in a timely manner using phone and email to ensure all outstanding tasks and commitments are brought to full completion.

    • Maintain the highest level of engagement and responsiveness of all available new sales leads and previous customers to generate new business.

    • Ability to independently research information.

    • Meet or exceed sales goals by booking voyages and optional packages (air, hotel, land, insurance).

    • Ensure complete accuracy in all bookings and call documentation.

    • Maintain an abandonment rate to the minimum by answering calls promptly.

    • Maximize conversions even on non-booking calls by collecting complete profile information.

    • Monitor and manage confirmation emails and resolve issues promptly.

    • Review incoming department emails and route them appropriately.

    • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless cruise booking and service experience.

    • Utilize CRM and reservation systems to maintain guest history and follow-ups.

    • Actively participate in ongoing training and sales performance development.

    • Support departmental and company-wide sales initiatives and projects.

    • Performing other job-related functions as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • This position is on-site and is based in our corporate office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, requiring a flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
    • Must be customer service-oriented and have excellent sales skills
    • Ability to effectively multi-task.
    • Able to work positively, cooperatively, and respectfully in a fast-paced, diverse, and entrepreneurial business environment
    • Cruise industry reservations systems experience highly preferred.
    • Self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to learn reservation system required (RESCO)
    • Proficient in verbal/written English
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
