WHO WE NEED

We're looking for a Business Consultant for a cloud-based Community software that will connect and engage constituents of non-profits and associations. As a Business Consultant, you will serve as a member of the Personify Community team. This role serves as a consultant for clients using the Personify Community platform, an online community software for members, volunteers, donors, advocates, colleagues, etc. The Community Consultant helps our customers effectively deploy, operate and strategize about their online community so that it achieves their organization's goals.

• Possess project management skills, which means identifying risks and issues, setting expectations, and delivering a solution on schedule

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Understand and help develop organizational and online community goals for our nonprofit , association and enterprise clients
• Make strategy, marketing, messaging and community platform configuration recommendations based on these goals
• Become an expert with our online community platform and execute on these recommendations using the community platform
• Conduct client training so they understand the full capability of our platform and it suits the needs of the client
• Coordinate with clients and 3rd party teams, lead status meetings with a high attention to details, develop tasks and action items
• Communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with clients
• Manage, clarify, verify, and prioritize reported client issues for the Personify Community support team for your clients
• Assist with implementing new clients through the launch of their new community
• Manage specific technical projects, project schedules, pace, input sessions, and milestones
• Assist with ongoing community engagement activities, such as content editing and development, creating new community areas, driving participation, and measuring results
• Identify opportunities for services and revenue-generating solutions to pass to our sales team

WHAT YOU BRING

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing, consulting, agency, project management, or community management roles
• Experience working with non-profits or associations is a plus
• Basic knowledge of basic image, HTML, and CSS editing is a plus
• Experience with SaaS software preferred. Experience with other CMS platforms and ability to configure and test software for clients is a plus.
• Must have a strong understanding of online marketing techniques, social media, online community, and collaboration solutions
• Preferred: Exceptional communication, grammar, and presentation skills (written and verbal). Exceptional time and priority management. A service-oriented and positive attitude
