Sr IT Technical Lead Summary
This highly technical, hands-on IT Lead will manage IT Support Staff and lead the team to provide excellent technical support/service. The incumbent will also provide organization in this fast paced and dynamic environment.
Sr IT Technical Lead Responsibilities
- Identify areas that may benefit from process improvement to enhance service delivery.
- Provide technical assistance / support for incoming IT issues.
- Employ expertise in system administration, management, and performance tuning techniques.
- Act as lead and direct resources to support optimization of IT services
- Function as technical liaison for IT Support related project activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the IT Support team.
- Advanced Installation, modification, and repair computer hardware and software.
Sr IT Technical Lead Qualifications
- 5+ years IT Management/Lead experience
- Must be experienced in ITIL (cert preferred)
- Experience VOIP system (required)
- Strong experience in SCCM (required)
- Strong experience in MS Exchange
- Strong experience in Microsoft Windows
- Strong experience in Windows Server Administration
- Strong experience in Active Directory
- Strong experience in Systems Management tools.
- Deep understanding of LDAP, AD, Messaging, DNS, DHCP, WINS, and TCP/IP networking
- Experience with monitoring tools (SCOM 2012, Solarwinds, etc)
- Experience in a SAN / NAS based environment
- Experience with load balancers
- Experience with SPAM filters
- Experience with Airwatch or similar
- Experience with IT ticketing systems
- Experience with RCA's and knowledge base management.
- Experience with ThinApp, Citrix, etc.
- Experience with SharePoint, SQL Server, and Dynamics preferred
- Strong written, and oral communication skills
- A highly collaborative work style.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
