Contract - 6 Months to Hire

Salary: Up to $50k - $70/yr
IT Support Specialist Summary
We have a 40 hour per week, on premises, L1 /L2 help desk role in the Houston area area. The ideal candidate has prior help desk experience with experience in a wide range of technology.
IT Support Specialist Responsibilities
Address and resolve customer IT Support requests in a timely, and courteous manner
Use our client’s HD ticketing system to document all support activities
Contribute to the Knowledge Base as applicable
Employ excellent communication and people skills to instill confidence in customers
Maintain a friendly, professional manner at all times
Escalate unresolved technical issues promptly and with proper documentation
IT Support Specialist Qualifications
Strong customer service skills and a strong phone presence
3 year minimum IT support (telephone experience)
A college degree or relevant certifications are a plus
A strong telephone manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with using call logging software is a plus
Microsoft desktop operating system experience (Windows 10 and O365)
Windows Active Directory experience is a must
Windows Server Experience is strongly preferred
Troubleshooting Outlook within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation)
Supporting iPhone and Android users in a corporate environment is a plus (IMAP mail syncing etc.)
Basic understanding of PC hardware setup and configuration.
