Chief Technology Officer
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will assess, integrate, develop, deliver, and document systems, software applications, architectural design, roadmap, and strategy. The CTO ultimately will be a champion of people and processes, creating clarity and consistency across the board while reducing friction and delivering value and delightful experience for both employees and customers. This role serves as a member of the leadership team, reports directly to the CEO, and must exemplify the organization's core values while working collaboratively across multiple functions.
Chief Technology Officer Responsibilities:
Assess
*Collaborate with Executive Leadership to assess and identify current technology usage across the organization
*Develop an inventory of all major network solutions, applications, and hardware currently in use
*Evaluate existing technology teams and assess existing skills and capabilities
*Review all major technology vendor contracts and identify upcoming renewals, opportunities for cost reductions, and areas for improvement
Strategic
*Develop meaningful relationships with others on the Executive Management Team and Board o to understand goals and objectives and propose technology solutions to help achieve them
*Leverage technology to capitalize on opportunities to increase revenue, decrease cost, and streamlines processes (i.e., reduce paper forms usage)
*Develop a short-term and long-term technology roadmap for the organization
*Establish goals and performance objectives that align with organization goals. Monitor, measure, and report results proactively to maximize the success of IT solutions.
Results
*Deliver immediate value to organization by assessing, owning, and driving existing business/tech initiatives to success.
*Develop, foster, and evangelize new enterprise solutions and application delivery methodologies and strategies aligned with overall business goals.

*Hold direct reports accountable for achieving the goals and meeting performance objectives aligned with business requirements; foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and reinforce the behaviors to operate more strategically.
*Assess the technology organization from both a talent and organizational alignment perspective to ensure the structure and skills are in place to exceed expectations. Determine the appropriate balance of full-time resources and contractors; build and nurture an integrated, energized, and highly-motivated technology team.
