    IT Technical Expert - SharePoint Summary

    The Office 365/SharePoint Administrator will partner with the business to define, analyze, and document requirements and help build out collaboration solutions within Office 365 SharePoint environment. They will focus on standardizing the current SharePoint sites and environment as well leading the development and implementation of future SharePoint deployments.

     

    IT Technical Expert - SharePoint Responsibilities

    1. Maintains awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and, where appropriate, makes recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems, technologies, and best practices.

    2. Administer/Co-administer and maintain sites, sub-sites, site pages and document libraries.

    3. Establish and manage site quotas and monitor storage.

    4. Customize look and feel across all sites leading to a consistent experience for end users.

    5. Create new sites and modify existing as requested.

    6. Document Sharepoint online configuration and architecture.

    7. Suggest improvements and other ways to leverage SharePoint in the organization.

    8. Assist in setting information policies (retention and review) as needed.

    9. Handle assigned support tickets, update activity log and gather FAQ/knowledge base content and document resolution.

    10. Other duties may be assigned, as they arise and will be assigned accordingly to workload

     

    IT Technical Expert - SharePoint Qualifications

    • An Associate’s degree is required. A Bachelor’s is preferred.

    • Minimum of one-year experience working with, developing and maintaining a Microsoft O365 SharePoint environment.

    • Strong functional knowledge of modern and classic Office 365 SharePoint sites.

    • Strong functional knowledge of Office365 SharePoint site permissions and retention settings.

    • Experience creating SharePoint sites, subsites, site pages, lists and document libraries.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with understanding of what excellent customer service looks like.
