  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Residential Sales Inspector position is responsible for providing sales coverage and creating sales for termite control and specialized pest control services and products to current and prospective customers in his or her assigned territory. Work schedules will vary based on seasonality and will likely include some evening hours and Saturdays.

    Specific Duties Include:

    • Maintain and increase sales volume of assigned territory as outlined in individual monthly and annual sales quotas and inspection requirements.
    • Secure D2D residential termite control, pest control, mosquito control, and specialized pest control sales.
    • Sell “previous owner” Sentricon sales as needed to support the real estate program.
    • Work additional creative sales programs as determined by sales management.
    • Inspect all properties accurately before submitting sales proposals.
    • Utilize and maintain assigned sales organizational tools, prelists, and other additional customer reports.
    • Price all services and products as listed on company pricing schedules.
    • Address customer complaints in accordance with company policy and advise management promptly about any situation beyond scope of authority.
    • Assist the Sales Manager or District Manager in recruiting new sales employees as needed.
    • Responsibly care for and maintain sales equipment and supplies, as well as the company sales vehicle in accordance with company instruction.
    • Comply with all company policies and instructions; always maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
    • Cooperate with all personnel at the district and department level, as well as other divisions.
    • Assume obligations of good citizenship and participate in worthwhile community activities.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Some previous Sales experience preferred.
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Excellent Communication Skills
    • A Great Attitude and Work Ethic
    • An acceptable Drug Test, Criminal Background check and Driving Record
    • Ability to adhere to Cook’s Grooming policy:
      • Tattoos must be covered at all times.
      • Facial hair should not exceed 1/2 inch (12.7 millimeters) in length
      • Male employees (uniformed and non-uniformed) are not permitted to wear any type of earring or any other piercing device that is publicly visible. Women may wear no more than 2 pairs of earrings.
      • Hairstyle should not interfere with the proper fit of a baseball hat (as part of the company uniform) or safety head coverings required when working in contained spaces with low head clearance (attics, crawl spaces, etc.). Regardless of sex, all hairstyles must be neat, clean and a natural color.
