Position: Pest Control Service Technician Major Responsibilities: • Control and eliminate pests in residential and commercial properties. • Perform inspections of various structures to identify the presence of pests, assess infestation severity, and determine potential structural damage. • Document and report findings through digital photos and detailed reports, including the location and extent of pest issues. • Coordinate with office staff and branch personnel to ensure efficient service delivery. • Maintain accurate digital records and submit necessary paperwork daily. • Keep company-issued equipment clean, well-maintained, and safe. • Adhere to company policies and state/provincial laws to ensure safety for yourself, customers, and the public. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Physical Demands: • Ability to perform general maintenance tasks, including trash disposal and sweeping floors, as part of a team rotation. • Frequent standing, walking, crawling, and sitting. Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally. • Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Work Environment: • Work outdoors in all weather conditions. • Use and maintain safety equipment, such as bump caps, gloves, goggles, respirators, and first aid kits. • Inspect, crawl, and work in various spaces such as basements, attics, and sub-areas of buildings. • Handle and work with common pest control materials like insecticides, herbicides, rodenticides, and fumigants. Training and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to ensure safety. Salary & Benefits: • Competitive hourly wage starting at $21.67 to $25 per hour. • Average first-year salary: $40,000 to $50,000. • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance. • Paid Training and Paid Vacations. • Signing Bonus.
