Job Summary

Potomac Pest and Termite Control is a family owned, locally trust pest management company seeking a reliable, motivated Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. No previous pest control experience is required. We provide on the job training. This is a great company for someone who enjoys hands-on works, problem solving and customer service.

Responsibilities:

Inspect the interior and exterior of buildings and the surrounding environment to identify pest activity, entry. points and conducive conditions

Perform residential and commercial pest control services according to company standards and state regulations

Determine the types of pests and best possible treatment options

Implement various pest control methods to treat the areas

Accurately complete service reports, documentation and recommendations

Maintain service vehicle, tools and equipment in clean and working condition

Follow all safety protocols, company procedures, and regulatory requirements

Communicate clearly with office staff, regarding schedules, findings and customer needs

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Pest Control Technician or in a similar position preferred but NOT required

High school diploma/GED preferred

Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including standing for extended periods and crawling in small spaces

MUST be comfortable with climbing on roofs and ladders

MUST have a clean driving record

Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols when dealing with potentially hazardous materials

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to maintain detailed records of payment and chemicals used
