Pest Control & Wildlife Technician — Coastal Wildlife & Pest Services | Jacksonville, FL

If you're sharp, dependable, and want to work somewhere your effort actually moves the needle — read this.

Coastal Wildlife & Pest Services is one of the fastest-growing pest and wildlife companies in Jacksonville. We're hiring a technician to join a small, high-performing team. No industry experience required — we train from scratch. What we hire for is attitude, reliability, and the ability to think independently in the field.

You'll start your mornings with a team huddle, then run your route solo — inspecting properties, applying pest control treatments, setting and removing wildlife traps, and performing exclusion work to seal entry points in attics, crawl spaces, and roof returns. You'll interact with homeowners daily, so communication matters. The work is physical, hands-on, and no two days are the same.

What makes this different from every other technician job posting you'll see:

We have a defined, six-level career path — on paper, with real numbers — that shows you exactly what advancement looks like from day one through Service Manager. Here's what that actually means:

Start at $17/hour as an Apprentice

Hit WL Tech Level 1 (6–12 months): $18/hour + production commission + $20/lead you generate

    WL Tech Level 2 (12–36 months): $19/hour + 7% sales commission + $30/lead

    Senior Tech (24–36 months): $20/hour + 10% sales commission + $50/lead + $1,500 annual scorecard bonus

Team Lead and Service Manager levels beyond that — with salary-track compensation

This isn't a promise. It's a written plan. You'll know exactly what's expected at every level and exactly what you'll earn when you get there.

    What you need:

Clean driving record and valid license

Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders

Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outside in Florida weather

Self-motivated — this role requires working independently in the field every day

    What you get:

$17–$19/hour starting pay based on experience

Company vehicle, phone, and tools provided

Health insurance reimbursement after 6 months

    Bonuses for 5-star Google reviews

Defined career path with written compensation at every level — not just "opportunities to grow"

A team culture that rewards ownership and accountability
