The Humane Society of Broward County, Inc., is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is identified nationally as a “Leader in Animal Welfare”. We provide shelter, aid, and responsible adoptions to animals entrusted to our care, and educate the community about respect and kindness to all animals.
Job Summary: Assist pet owners in finding pets suitable for their lifestyle. Provide information about the HSBC program and services.
Job Type: Full-time and part-time positions available. Requires weekend availability.
For part-time, the schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 12 AM - 6 PM. Applicants must be able to work these hours.
For full-time, the schedule is 9 AM -6 PM, 5 days per week. Requires weekend availability.
Pay rate: $15/hr
Work Environment: Requires handling of small and large domesticated animals.
Responsibilities:
An ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, an affection for animals, and concern for their welfare.
