Animology is looking for a hardworking, positive, and dependable Pet Bather to join our grooming team. This position is responsible for bathing, drying, brushing, nail trims, salon cleaning, and assisting groomers in maintaining a fast-paced, safe, and high-quality grooming environment. This is an active, hands-on position that requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude with both clients and coworkers. No professional grooming experience is required — training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities: • Bathe and dry dogs safely and efficiently • Brush and prep coats for groomers • Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, and basic hygiene services • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of grooming equipment and salon areas • Clean kennels, tubs, dryers, brushes, and tools throughout the day • Monitor pets for stress, health concerns, or behavioral issues and communicate concerns to management • Assist in maintaining daily appointment flow and on-time completion goals • Provide excellent customer service during pet drop-off and pick-up • Follow all company safety procedures and handling standards • Assist with laundry, cleaning tasks, and end-of-day closing duties Qualifications: • We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED • Important to be able to work independently and with a team, take direction and follow-through • Previous animal handling, kennel, daycare, or grooming experience preferred but not required • Passion for pets and the pet industry • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure Compensation: $18 - $19.50 hourly
