Job Summary

We are seeking an Pet Care Attendant to join our team! As an Attendant you will spend your days tending to the animals under our care, including following guidelines for feeding, refilling water bowls, and offering treats and companionship. You will also be responsible for ensuring the environment is clean and safe for all the animals as well as walking or socializing animals as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with all size and breeds of dogs, can work on their feet for long periods of time, and can work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Follow guidelines to interactively play with all breeds, ensuring the proper guidelines are followed

Clean and maintain pet enclosures so that every animal under your care has a safe, healthy environment

Socialize and exercise dogs under your care as needed

Interact with the dogs, providing a positive human experience

Maintain proper records of all dogs and care given throughout your shift

Bathe animals, trim nails, clip hair, and attend to other grooming needs.

Qualifications

Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and types

Must be comfortable working on your feet for long periods of time

Familiarity with basic computer programs to keep up with required training

Flexibility to perform various roles within the facility.
