Job Summary:

At Qualheim's True Value, our pet department associates are responsible for providing excellent customer service while maintaining a well-stocked and organized pet department. This role also includes caring for small animals and assisting customers with pet food, supplies, and product recommendations.

Responsibilities:

Feeding and care for all animals.

Keeping animal cages and pet room clean.

Providing customers with reliable knowledge on the animals of interest.

Assist customers in finding the product that best suits their needs.

Assist with checkout processes as needed.

Stocking merchandise as well as contributing to inventory processes.

All while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications:

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Have a general understanding of small animals and a willingness to continually expand knowledge.

Comfortability working with small animals.

Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Able to lift 50+lbs regularly to keep merchandise stocked.

Team player with a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
